Terms & Conditions
By booking with SAS Rentals, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Bookings
All rentals and try-on appointments must be booked through our website. Bookings are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
We currently offer:
- Mosman pickup rentals
- Australia-wide express postage rentals
- In-person try-on appointments
Availability is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
2. Payments
Full payment is required at checkout to secure all rentals and try-on appointments.
All payments are securely processed through Shopify.
3. Bonds
A refundable bond is required for all rentals.
Pickup Rentals
Pickup rental bonds range from $30–$100 depending on the value of the garment.
Postage Rentals
All interstate/postage rentals require a flat $90 refundable bond.
Bonds are typically refunded within 2–3 business days after the garment has been returned and inspected.
Deductions may apply for:
- Damage or stains beyond normal wear
- Additional cleaning requirements
- Missing items or accessories
- Late returns
- Repairs or replacement costs
4. Rental Period
Pickup Rentals
Pickup rentals operate on a 3-day hire period:
- Collect your garment before 5pm the day before your event
- You may also collect it on the day of your event if preferred
- All garments must be returned before 6pm the day after your event
Postage Rentals
Postage rentals include an extended hire period to allow for express shipping transit times.
- Garments are sent via Australia Post Express
- Please allow approximately 2–3 business days each way
- The garment must be posted back the day after your event using the prepaid return satchel provided
SAS Rentals is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post once an item has been lodged.
5. Try-On Appointments
Try-on appointments are located in Mosman, Sydney. The exact address will be sent 24 hours prior to your booking.
Appointments run for 30 minutes and customers are welcome to bring friends or family.
Weekend Try-On Fee
Weekend try-on appointments incur a $20 booking fee.
- Cancellations with 24+ hours notice may be rescheduled
- Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will forfeit the booking fee
Weekday try-on appointments are complimentary.
6. Returns & Late Fees
All garments must be returned on time. This is before 6pm the day after your event,
Late returns of $15/day occur.
Failure to return a garment may result in charges up to the full retail value of the item.
7. Garment Care
Cleaning is included in all rentals. Please do not wash the garment yourself.
During your hire period, you agree to:
- Avoid fresh fake tan, body makeup and perfumes directly on the garment
- Avoid sharp jewellery or bags that may damage delicate fabrics
- Not alter, pin, tape or modify the garment in any way
- Handle the garment with care
8. Damages & Loss
You are fully responsible for the garment during your hire period.
Minor wear and tear is expected; however:
- Significant damage
- Permanent stains
- Fabric pulls or tears
- Missing garments or accessories
- Irreparable damage
may result in repair fees or charges up to the full retail value of the garment.
If damage occurs, please contact SAS Rentals immediately.
9. Fit, Styling & Responsibility
SAS Rentals does not offer refunds due to change of mind, event cancellation, incorrect sizing selection or personal preference.
We strongly recommend booking a try-on appointment prior to your event to ensure the best fit.
Product descriptions, sizing information and model measurements are provided as a guide only.
10. Cancellations & Credits
Rental Bookings
- 7+ days notice: Full refund
- 3–6 days notice: 50% refund or full store credit
- Within 48 hours of the booking: No refund or credit
11. Liability
SAS Rentals is not liable for:
- Incorrect sizing selections
- Delays caused by Australia Post
- Damage occurring during wear
- Injuries, loss or damage associated with garment use
- Circumstances outside of our control affecting delivery or collection
